Applying to Backwell Sixth Form is an online process and the deadline for applications is Friday 6 December 2024 at 4.30 pm.
You will find the course information booklet below which contains all key information about the courses we offer in Sixth Form.

Year 11 students currently studying at Backwell School, please log into your Frog account and click on the 'Application to Join Backwell Sixth Form' link on the Student Notices page.
Please note that applications submitted after the deadline of Friday 6 December 2024 will be considered. However, whilst we will do our best to accommodate your subject choices, those subjects may already be full and there could be reduced choice in terms of subject combinations.

| Friday 25 October 2024 | Online applications open |
| Friday 6 December 2024 | Deadline for applications. Applications submitted after the deadline will be considered. However, whilst we will do our best to accommodate subject choices, those subjects may already be full and there could be reduced choice in terms of subject combinations |
| February 2025 onwards | Sixth Form interviews take place for all applicants. For students new to Backwell and their parents/carers, this will include a guided tour of the school campus, visiting live lessons and an opportunity to ask questions |
| May 2025 | Conditional offers made to students |
| Friday 4 July 2025 |
Sixth Form Transition Day (attendance is compulsory if Backwell Sixth Form is your first or second choice) |
| Thursday 21 August 2025 | GCSE Results Day |
| Tuesday 26 August 2025 | Deadline to complete online registration at Backwell Sixth Form |
| Thursday 4 September 2025 | First day of term and Sixth Form Induction for Year 12 students |
